Winston & Strawn’s veteran managing partner James Neis is stepping down from the role, after 13 years heading the 900-lawyer top 30 US firm.
Corporate lawyer Neis has served as the Chicago giant’s managing partner since 1993, during which time the firm doubled its number of lawyers and increased annual revenue from $144m (£82m) to $575m (£327m).
