clipart. com san francisco: business is booming in the bay areaSan Francisco leaders Morrison & Foerster (MoFo) and Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe have confirmed expectations that business is still on the up in the Bay Area, by posting average profit per equity partner (PEP) figures that break the symbolic million-dollar mark.

MoFo posted an impressive 27% increase in PEP, with profits rising from $825,000 (£444,300) to $1.5m (£594,200). The firm also maintained its position as the topgrossing Bay Area firm with a 16% increase in revenues to hit $687m (£389m), up from 2004′s $593m (£319m). The figures also come on the back of a 10% increase in PEP between 2003 and 2004.
