West Coast heavyweight Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman is set to overhaul its management, after chair Mary Cranston announced yesterday (26 January) she is to step down at the end of the year, and managing partner Marina Park also admitted she is considering her future.

Cranston and Park oversaw two major mergers during the seven years they managed the firm. In that period, the firm’s number of lawyers has increased from 490 to more than 900, and its number of offices has grown from nine to 16.
