Denton Wilde Sapte has rejected the idea of bringing in a larger merit-based component to its lockstep, opting instead to better scrutinise its existing system, as the City firm completes a review of its remuneration model.

Last month’s decision saw Dentons recommit to its nine-year lockstep, which ranges from 45 to 90 points, and maintain the 25% of profits reserved in a bonus pool.
