Janet Paraskeva is to leave her role as the Law Society’s chief executive to succeed Baroness Usha Prashar as the first civil service commissioner.
The Law Society has confirmed that Paraskeva, who has been Chancery Lane’s chief executive for the last five years, will stay on to oversee the society’s restructuring before moving to the Office of the Civil Service Commissioners next summer.
