Clifford Chance corporate partner David Pearson took the lead role advising Punch Taverns on its £2.6bn bid for UK pub operator Spirit Group. Slaughter and May corporate partner Hywel Davies advised Spirit Group on the deal, which included the assumption of debt amounting to £1.25bn.
DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary has advised the Alternative Hotel Group on its £325m acquisition of Initial Style Conferences, the UK owner and operator of residential conference and training centres.
