Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s US managing partner, Ted Burke, has been lined up as its next chief executive, in a notable departure from the giant’s tradition of having London-based management.
Partners inside the magic circle firm have confirmed that Burke is the front-runner to take on the role when the incumbent, Hugh Crisp, stands down at the end of the financial year, although the appointment has yet to be confirmed.
