Slaughter and May corporate partner Richard Jones is leaving the firm to join the in-house department of GE Consumer Finance, in a rare departure for the elite UK M&A firm.
Jones, who has been a partner in Slaughters’ Hong Kong office since 2001, will join GE on 1 January as its general counsel for Asia.
