Eversheds is in line to handle one of the biggest UK corporate deals ever run outside of the Square Mile with the firm’s Manchester arm instructed to advise on the £2bn auction of telecoms retailer Caudwell Group.
The national firm landed the role through a long-term relation-ship with billionaire owner John Caudwell, who last week unveiled his plans to sell the entire business.
