A&O and Cleary land roles on £1.4bn IPO

Allen & Overy (A&O) and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton have bagged the lead roles on the €2.1bn (£1.4bn) IPO of Belgian cable company Telenet.

The high-profile IPO is the largest to be carried out by a Belgian company this year, and one of the first major Continental floats since the introduction in July of Europe’s Prospectus Directive.
