Fresh evidence that relationship lawyers are bypassed in insolvencies emerged this month as Lovells and Halliwells bagged lead roles on two major administrations.
The administrations of retail chains Allsports and Furnitureland respectively handed roles to Halliwells and Lovells – neither of which are regular advisers to the companies.
