The Clementi proposals are no more. With the publication of the White Paper on the future of legal services this week, they have now become official Government policy.
Indeed, not only has Clementi’s radical reform blueprint been endorsed by the Government wholesale, but in one key area – law firm ownership – the boat has been pushed out even further.
