It was good to see Weil Gotshal & Manges deal king Mike Francies out and about last week. Francies found time between deals to attend the Managing Partner Forum (MPF) awards on 7 October and collect a gong for coming second in the ‘Best Business Case for Diversity’ category.
Other big cheeses to make the event included Slaughter and May practice partner David Frank (there with some of his best mates) and DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary head honcho Nigel Knowles, who had a busy night.
