UK lawyers have backed the appointment of a heavyweight City solicitor to a controversial review of legal aid, according to a new survey that also claims the Government is failing to tap commercial lawyers’ skills.
The latest Legal Week/ EJ Legal Big Question survey found that 80% of respondents believe senior figures within the business law community have a responsibility to bring their experience to bear in public policy issues.
