Atlanta firm King & Spalding has hired Shearman & Sterling associate Scott Samuel as a finance partner in its London practice.
The addition of Samuel, who specialises in project and acquisition finance, will bring the number of partners in the firm’s only European base to seven. Samuel’s appointment follows the hire late last year of former Simmons & Simmons energy partner Susan Beck.
