Pinsent Masons has tied up its first deal for the Government of the Republic of Cyprus, advising opposite Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Norton Rose on a long-term £343m public-private partnership (PPP) project to revamp the island’s outdated airports.

Pinsents first won the mandate in 2001 after a competitive tender that featured pitches from 10 other firms including several bids from the magic circle and a clutch of national firms.
