The Government’s much heralded proposals to cut red tape for smaller businesses and support entrepreneur activity by reducing the stifling effect of excessive regulation have led to proposals for reform.
The Department of Enterprise Trade & Investment (DETI) expects to enact legislation that will include modernisation of company law, reform of insolvency law and an extension of the law relating to directors disqualification.
