Davis Polk & Wardwell has pledged to follow up its surprise French law launch with further senior hires in the Paris market as the elite Wall Street firm this week outlined plans for its foreign law debut.
As reported previously on legal-week.com (18 July), the New York firm on Monday announced the recruitment of its first practising foreign law partner with the recruitment of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer French co-head of M&A, Arnaud Peres.
