The Law Society has come under renewed pressure to water down its controversial reform package for legal education after the formal consultation on the proposals drew critical responses from across the profession.
The Law Society is now assessing more than 200 formal submissions that reached the body by the consultation deadline of 8 July, in response to proposals from Chancery Lane’s Training Framework Review Group (TFRG) earlier this year.
