Ogier has hired London partner Gray Smith from rival Maples and Calder to head up a City push from the offshore leader.
The funds specialist joins the firm as its 25th partner on 1 September after seven years at Maples, where he most recently served as the London head of investment funds and a member of its UK management committee.
