Clifford Chance (CC) and its former Italian ally – Grimaldi & Associati – have retained their roles on the landmark €6.7bn (£4.56m) high-speed rail link between Lyon and Turin – one of Europe’s biggest cross-border infrastructure deals – after the second round of contracts were put out to tender.
The project, which is operated through joint venture (JV) vehicle Lyon Turin Ferroviaire (LTF), will secure a rail link between France and Italy that will include the construction of a 52 kilometre tunnel through the Alps.
