Squire Sanders & Dempsey is to launch a stand-alone Madrid finance practice with the recruitment of respected Spanish banking partner Javier Lopez Anton from Clifford Chance (CC).
Lopez Anton, who has been with the UK firm since 1995, is to leave on 1 September to become the ninth partner in Squire Sanders’ Spanish arm and launch a dedicated finance practice for the 700-lawyer US firm.
