Richards Butler has maintained a solid rise in profits, despite static income, as the top 50 UK firm continues the drive to bolster its bottom line.

Figures released this week show the firm post average partner profits of £460,000 for its 2004-05 year, up by 11% from the previous year’s figure of £415,000. Turnover rose marginally from £87m to £89m. Worldwide, the firm’s equity ladder now ranges from £210,000 to £1m.
