Bird & Bird to launch practice in Frankfurt

Bird & Bird is to launch its third German arm with the London technology specialist transferring senior Duesseldorf corporate partner Erich Michel to establish an office in Frankfurt.

Michel, a corporate finance specialist who joined the firm last October from Norton Rose’s Frankfurt office, will head the new office, which is scheduled to open on 1 October with a 10-lawyer team.
