Many wireless LAN (WLAN) projects are not having an impact on IT strategy according to a survey by systems integrator Logicalis Network Solutions. The survey of 150 firms across a range of sectors revealed that security, budget restrictions, and lack of connectivity were the main concerns.
The survey found that 55% of pilots go on to become permanent installations.
