The installation replaces a mix of database systems that had been used to identify and build civil and criminal cases. The legal department changes after finding the numerous database systems in use cumbersome and difficult to administer. As a result, the team needed a single system that could share information and also one that could fully integrate into its current office systems.
By implementing the IMS Matter Centre, running with Microsoft Office 2003, it will enable exposure of information directly within the users’ normal working environment. Information across all Office mediums, including e-mail, are bought together to provide the user with significant productivity gains.
