More than 60 US firms in New York have agreed to provide clients with exact ‘diversity breakdowns’ on request, in what has been hailed as a major step towards equality in the legal profession.
The firms, including Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, White & Case, Bingham McCutchen and Weil Gotshal & Manges, this month agreed the venture with the New York-based County Lawyers’ Association.
