The Department for Constitutional Affairs (DCA) has unveiled its revamped ministerial team as the Lord Chancellor, Lord Falconer, sets out the Parliamentary agenda for the UK’s legal ministry.

The new line-up sees former solicitor general Harriet Harman appointed as minister of state for constitutional affairs, taking responsibility for electoral and House of Lords reform, as well as human rights and criminal justice. Baroness Ashton of Upholland is retained as one of two Parliamentary under secretaries of states, alongside Bridget Prentice MP.
