Simmons chief to pick executive arm

Simmons & Simmons is to change its constitution to allow newly-appointed managing partner Mark Dawkins free rein to appoint a management committee of his choice.

Simmons partners agreed to the proposal on Friday (11 March), giving Dawkins the power to appoint an international executive responsible for day-today management of the firm.
