SJ Berwin has landed its first major work for property fund manager Teesland, advising the new client on the raising of a £76m fund.
The City firm is advising Leeds-based Teesland on its launch of a Guernsey property investment company, Teesland Advantage Property Income Trust, which will use the money raised through a share issue to invest in future developments.
