Japanese firms Mori Hamada & Matsumoto and Max Law Offices are merging to create the country’s largest legal practice, as domestic firms continue to consolidate ahead of upcoming bar reforms.
The deal will see Mori Hamada absorb the respected 13-lawyer IP specialist, creating a 200-lawyer full-service giant from July.
