Norton Rose and Simmons take the lead on high profile Lloyd's purchase

Norton Rose and Simmons & Simmons have scooped profile-raising lead roles on the sale of the Lloyd’s Building, the home of the world-famous Lloyd’s of London insurance market.

The deal sees Commerzleasing, a fund of German banking giant Commerzbank, acquire the property in a deal worth more than £230m. Norton Rose advised Commerzleasing, fielding a team under partner Robin Mitchell.
