Partners deny women lawyers and minorities are obstructed

City lawyers have resoundingly rejected the concept of a glass ceiling holding back ethnic minorities and women at top 50 UK law firms, according to new research.

The latest Legal Week/ EJ Legal Big Question survey, which polled more than 100 senior lawyers, found only 16% agreeing that women face additional hurdles at major commercial firms, against 84% who claimed there is no glass ceiling.
