The latest dispatches from the public relations war zone are, as usual, somewhat contradictory. At one firm, which shall remain nameless in order to spare the blushes of the people that own it (i.e. the partners), the Ministry of Information seems to have the upper hand.
“It’s getting pretty dictatorial,” one partner whispered, dejectedly over the phone. “You are not supposed to speak to the press. You are meant to call them back with one of the trained media advisors. It is very 1984-ish.”
