The FA Premier League’s legal head, Simon Johnson, has quit in a move that looks set to bolster the position of DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary with the client.
Johnson – a former partner at the legacy Denton Hall – took on the role in 2003 after eight years with ITV with the brief of taking in-house the Premier League’s broadcasting rights work.
