CC and Lovells become latest London firms to lose senior lawyers to independents

The stream of partners leaving London firms for German independents is continuing into the New Year with senior lawyers this month quitting Clifford Chance (CC) and Lovells for national firms.
The latest departures, which come after a series of similar moves in 2004, sees DLA’s former ally Gorg Rechtsanwalte hire CC Berlin real estate partner Jan Linder-Figura, while Lovells’ IT/IP specialist Hartwig Graf von Wester-holt moves to Linklaters spin-off Schiedermair.
