Latham & Watkins has hired Richards Butler commercial disputes veteran John Hull to launch a mainstream City litigation practice.
Hull specialises in funds and professional indemnity disputes and had been with Richards Butler since 1989. He will become the first UK qualified litigation partner in the US firm’s 100-lawyer London base and the 25th partner in the City overall when he takes up his role in February.
