Linklaters reclaims Euro M&A crown as recovery gathers pace

Linklaters has topped the 2004 end of year rankings for European M&A, edging ahead of Clifford Chance (CC) to secure top spot as the long-awaited recovery in deal activity gathers pace.

The Mergermarket figures show the City giant placed first by deal value, overseeing 236 announced deals with a total value of €197.5bn (£139.4bn).
