Former partners of the defunct Brobeck Phleger & Harrison are being targeted to pay back some of the reported $275m (£141.5m) they drew ahead of its collapse as part of the West Coast giant’s bankruptcy proceedings.

According to the San Francisco Business Times, Brobeck’s court-appointed trustee, Rob Greenspan, is targeting 230 former partners, citing the California Corporations Code for money received while the firm was technically insolvent.
