British American Tobacco (BAT) has slashed millions from its annual legal bills, it has emerged, in the wake of a sweeping shake-up of the company’s legal function.
The FTSE 100 company, one of the UK’s biggest spenders on legal services, is thought to have almost halved its £10m annual IP legal budget while slashing millions further from its general litigation costs.
