UK firms meet budget forecasts as shoots of recovery emerge

The vast majority of UK law firms have met or exceeded budget fore-casts at the financial year’s halfway stage, according to a survey of senior business lawyers.

The research, contained in the latest Legal Week/ EJ Legal Big Question poll of more than 100 partners, found 43% of respondents claiming their firms are on budget for the first half of the financial year.
