Travers Smith has closed two high-profile private equity deals in the space of a week, advising major clients 3i and Bridgepoint.
The firm advised 3i on the acquisition of UK women’s retailer store Hobbs, which was signed at the beginning of the month for £131m. Head of corporate Chris Hale, who was named on 3i’s panel of individual partners earlier this year, led the team with assistant Mark Robson and banking partner Andrew Gregson.
