Taylor Wessing is gearing up for a major revamp of its international strategy, with the firm set to unveil plans in the New Year to launch a number of new offices across Europe.

A working party will report to partners in March, with Italy emerging as the most likely location for the first new office. The top 50 firm has also yet to rule out the possibility of another international merger following the 2002 tie-up between legacy Taylor Joynson Garrett and German firm Wessing.
