Once again, the Legal IT Forum conference managed to draw the crowds to the Gleneagles Hotel in Auchterader, at the southern edge of the Scottish Highlands. The event remains unique for its informal, almost collegiate atmosphere and because of the quality of the delegates.

Major law firms from as far afield as Sydney, St Louis, Paris, Auckland, New York, Oslo, Amsterdam, Los Angeles and Stockholm sent their IT directors and chief information officers (CIOs) to network, bone up on the latest management strategies and to keep their fingers on the pulse of legal technology innovation. Admittedly, some are also drawn by the golf and the lively bar scene.
