UK/US duo secures lead role on BT's $965m bid for Californian telecoms group Infonet Services

Allen & Overy (A&O) and Latham & Watkins have landed the lead roles on BT’s foray back into the US market to buy Californian telecoms group Infonet Services for $965m (£520m).
A&O is advising BT, with New York public M&A head Eric Shube leading the team, and corporate partners Paul Burns and Ian Ferguson advising from London. Brussels-based partner Michel Struys is advising on EU competition law.
