Dorsey & Whitney is to pull out of Japan – ditching its Tokyo office and its local joint venture – as the firm becomes the latest US player to scale back its presence in Asia.
The move sees Dorsey’s 10-lawyer branch, which is headed by managing partner Steven Nelson, close this month leaving the Minnesota-based firm with two Asian offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
