Sokolow Carreras & Associes has dropped its offices in Brussels and Casablanca, and hired the head of employment from boutique Alain Bensoussan Avocats, as the independent Paris firm overhauls its practice.

The firm’s 13-lawyer Brussels arm, which was built around the local Bird & Bird TMT team that quit for Sokolow in 2002, has formed a stand-alone firm called Koan, although it will maintain links with the French practice.
