Clifford Chance (CC) San Francisco partner James Lico has joined Kirkland & Ellis, leaving Tower Snow as the only remaining West Coast partner yet to find a home following the UK giant’s decision to drastically downsize its Californian practice earlier this year.
Lico, who has moved to become a partner at the Chicago leader’s San Francisco arm, is a securities litigation specialist who joined CC in 2002 as part of the team led by Snow from Brobeck Phleger & Harrison.
