A victim of Andersen’s fall from grace, Dundas & Wilson was obliged to execute a major strategy change when the accounting giant’s network of tied and affiliated law firms, Andersen Legal, began to unravel. As an independent player in a highly competitive market, Dundas had to hit the ground running – a fact that was not lost on its IT managers.
“We came out of the Andersen Legal network very quickly,” says John Craske, associate partner and IT director. “Our IT had been managed entirely by Andersen and therefore at the time of the exit, we had to put in place our own IT team and management structure.
