Watson Farley appoints new chair

Watson Farley & Williams has elected a new chairman following the news that incumbent Chris Preston is leaving the 50-partner finance specialist.

Shipping specialist Frank Dunne – a former head of the firm’s international finance group – becomes chairman with immediate effect, having seen off competition from corporate partner Charles Walford in a partnership ballot for the role, which carries no fixed term.
